The Galaxy 88HL is Galaxy’s mid level SSB radio. It
has all of the power that the DX99V has, but with a few
less features. Overall this is one of the best SSB
radios with dual finals, dual echo controls,
fine/coarse clarifier controls on both transmit and
receive, and frequency counter. It makes an excellent
choice for the professional driver or the serious
hobbyist. Galaxy hasn't cut any corners on this radio.
It's a full featured, serious amateur radio. Feature
wise it’s very similar to the Connex 4800DXL. Every
Galaxy comes with a two year parts and labor warranty.
That in it’s self can be priceless if something
goes wrong six months or a year down the road. The guys
over at Galaxy tech support are the best in business.
