Shipping Policy

At Premiere Electronics we are very fortunate to have one of the best shipping departments in the industry. Unlike most companies we use high quality materials to insure that your items are not damaged.

If your items due happen to be damaged in shipment please notify the carrier immediately!

Unlike some of our competitors, our shipping software is fully integrated with our order management program to remove the chance of incorrect shipping addresses and the wrong delivery service selections. So what does this mean? It means you will get your package shipped to the correct address every time and using the correct delivery service (Example: 2nd Day Air) It also means we can quote you extremely accurate shipping rates over the phone.

We cannot however guarantee if you order a product and choose to have it shipped Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select that it will arrive in that amount of time. This is because it can take a few days to process your order. In most case though if you have placed your order before 2 P.M. Central Standard Time it will be shipped the same day.

In the past we have had customers request a refund on shipping charges because UPS did not deliver in the guaranteed amount of time. The guarantee in from UPS NOT Premiere Electronics. We will be happy to refund your shipping charges if UPS processes the claim, but we will not do so until UPS has credited us for the shipment.

We try to maintain the lowest possible shipping charges, but please remember we do use quality-shipping materials and they do cost a little more. Our shipping charges regardless are very competitive and often the lowest in the industry. Most orders are charged a $2.00 package fee, to help cover the cost of materials. We DO NOT profit from shipping and we feel that no business should! Orders over $140 require a signature; this adds a small amount to shipping costs. Over 99% of the time, our shopping cart will give you the correct and exact shipping cost. Often the actual amount you are charged is slightly less than what is displayed in the cart.

When shipping antennas like the Wilson 1000 and 5000, we find that a combination of UPS and USPS yields the most affordable shipping. The reason being is that they ship in two boxes, one for the base and the other for the whip. USPS is more affordable when shipping a long object, like the whip. UPS is more affordable when shipping heavier items like the base.

If you'd like to get a shipping estimate from the shopping cart, please follow these steps. First, add the items you would like to your cart. Next proceed to checkout and enter your contact information. After you submit that the cart will then display the shipping charges. The order isn't actually placed until you enter your credit card information, so do not hesitate to use this method. Entering credit card information is actually the next step in the process, but you do not need to do so in order to getting a shipping quote.

Generally USPS will be the most cost effective for orders that weigh less than five pounds and are valued at $100 or less. Orders containing heavier or more expensive products are usually cheaper to ship with UPS. Insurance is much more affordable with UPS. All packages we ship are insured for the correct amount, this assures you get the protection you deserve.

Orders sent via UPS should have tracking information automatically emailed when the order ships. USPS orders do not have tracking emailed when they ship however, but we can give out the numbers upon request.

If you do purchase a radio and an antenna in the same order with our shopping cart, the shipping charges may be slightly off. This is because shopping cart technology isn't yet advanced enough to calculate multiple box shipments. If you need an exact quote please e-mail us or give us a call.

Lastly, we will continue to explore and whenever possible offer you the most affordable shipping options. It's our continual commitment at Premiere Electronics to making shopping a pleasure, not a headache!

Our Return Policy (or exchanges)

Returns must be in like new condition and contain all plastic and papers that originally came with the product. There is a 20% restocking fee for returns and they must be made with in 30 days of your order date. Shipping is not refundable. You are responsible for paying the shipping to us and we pay the shipping back to you. NO EXCEPTIONS! At Premiere Electronics we can't offer a free trial period. This is obviously because once a product is returned we can't sell it as new. This intern raises prices (Which we do not want!) and we assume you don't either. If you are not sure about a product just give us a call. We are more than willing to answer any questions you may have.

Warranty Policy

Most items purchased from us are covered under our 30-day warranty radios however come with a 90-day warranty through Premiere Electronics. After our warranty period is up you can either send the radio to the manufacturer, for repair under their warranty or have it repaired at a shop. If you opt for the second choice we recommend you send it to: http://www.export-radio-repair.net this is a division of Premiere Electronics, so you can count on quality work and fast turn around time. Before you send an item to us for warranty repair you must obtain a RAN or return authorization number. Any merchandise sent without one will be refused. This is for your protection as well as ours. We maintain the right to refuse any equipment that we believe has been damaged by negligent operators, improper connections or serviced by an unauthorized repair center.

You are responsible for paying the shipping to us and we pay the shipping back to you. NO EXCEPTIONS! An item that is in for warranty repair is usually fixed with in two to three weeks, but we can offer no guarantees. Please do not call everyday to check on it either, we are very busy as it is and this only slows the process down even more.

Radios that we have not been serviced by us are not covered under our warranty. They instead should be sent to the factory service center.

Magnum: 1-3 years after the date of manufacture, extend warranties can be purchase from RF Limited the maker of Magnum radios that is why the warranty period varies.

Backordered Items

Our general policy on backordered items is as follows. If an order is 90% complete we will ship it. We make every effort to ship as much of your order as possible at a time. Backorders that exceed 30-35 days are automatically canceled. Our usual policy for filling backorders to ship them to you as soon as they become available. If you receive an invoice with a backordered item on it and you decide to purchase the item else where please let us know. This way we can cancel it in our database. If you fail to call you may receive the item from us.
