SP1-A Speech Processor
Have you ever been watching a show on TV, when suddenly a
loud commercial comes on? The truth is the commercial really isn’t louder, it
just sounds that way. The producers of these commercials use speech processors
or compressors to make the commercials sound louder and get your attention. It
works doesn’t it? Now you can employ this same technology on a much smaller
level, in your radio. You can have our technicians install the SP1-A, and it
will give you a similar effect. With the SP1-A, you’re going to cut through
the background noise more effectively and sound louder. There are a couple of
things we don’t recommend that you do with this though. We don’t recommend
that you attempt to use a power microphone. Your radio will end up squealing
like a stuck pig. We recommend a good noise canceling microphone such as the
Astatic 636L or the Road King 56.
