The Galaxy DX949 is very similar to the DX959, but without the frequency counter. Feature wise it’s much the same with variable RF Power, talk back, variable dimmer for the channel display and meter. This radio wouldn’t be a Galaxy if it didn’t include the large meter that everyone loves. Like the DX959, it’s includes the two-year factory warranty, which is incredible when you compare to what Cobra offers. This radio is an awesome performer on AM & SSB!
